Scripture
We believe that God verbally inspired the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament by the Holy Spirit through human authors. We believe these Scriptures are inerrant and infallible in their original writings and are the ultimate authority over every domain of knowledge to which it speaks. Therefore, receiving the Bible as the very words of God, we are to believe all that it teaches, obey all that it commands, and trust all that it promises.
Trinity
We believe in one God uncreated, eternal, infinite, almighty, perfect in love and holiness. This one God has eternally existed in three co-equal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Father
We believe in God the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. We believe the Father has reconciled His created but fallen world through the death of His Son and renews it into a kingdom of God by His Spirit. Being Almighty God and a faithful Father, we trust that He sovereignly works all things together for good. We rest in His promise that forever He will be our God and we will be His people.
Son
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of the Father, true God from true God, through whom all things were made, one person in two natures, truly God and truly man. We believe that for us and for our salvation, He was incarnate by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary; He lived in perfect obedience to the Father, suffered, was crucified under Pontius Pilate, died, and was buried; the third day he arose bodily according to the Scriptures; ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father; He shall come again to judge the living and the dead.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, who together with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who spoke through the prophets. We believe the Holy Spirit applies salvation, always glorifying the Lord Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, regenerates the spiritually dead, indwells all believers, illuminates the Scriptures, empowers life in Christ, comforts us in our afflictions, and seals us for the day of redemption.
Creation
We believe that God created all things out of nothing and that He created all things good. He created humanity in His image, embodying them distinctly male and female, equal in dignity and value, and complementary in their design and in their roles in the family and the Body of Christ. We believe that God united Adam and Eve as one, establishing the covenant of marriage as a relationship between one man and one woman as the only context approved and blessed by God for sexual relations. We believe God designed human marriage to reflect the union of Christ and His Church. We believe God commissioned Adam and Eve to multiply image bearers and to have dominion over the earth together.
Fall
We believe Adam and Eve sinned when tempted by Satan and received the just judgment of death. In union with Adam, all humans are alienated from God, under His wrath, born corrupted and sinful in their nature, without hope in themselves, and absolutely dependent upon the mercy and grace of God for redemption.
Redemption
We believe that in the fullness of time God sent forth His Son anointed by the Holy Spirit to accomplish the whole of our salvation by His incarnation, life, death, resurrection, and ascension. Salvation is a gift by God's grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. We believe Christ fulfilled the Scriptures, perfectly obeyed the Father, and died once for all as our representative and atoning sacrifice. He bore the wrath of God in our place and became sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God. We believe Christ rose bodily from the grave, victorious over Satan, sin, and death, so that in Him we might have new life. We believe the Holy Spirit seals our redemption bringing us into union with Christ in His death and resurrection, so that we are being renewed and conformed to Christ's image as we walk in repentance and faith. We believe Jesus Christ, our mediator and advocate, is at the right hand of God interceding on our behalf.
Restoration
We believe our Lord Jesus Christ will return bodily to judge the world and consummate His kingdom. He will cast Satan and those who do not obey the gospel into eternal conscious judgment in hell, and He will bring all His people into eternal joy and glory. The people of God will reign forever with Christ in the new heaven and new earth to the praise of His glorious grace.
Church and Mission
We believe that the universal Church comprises all who have faith in Christ and are united to Him by the Spirit. We believe Scripture clearly teaches the establishment of local churches who worship, proclaim God's Word, and administer the ordinances. We believe that making disciples of all nations is the mission given to all of Christ's disciples, and therefore local churches, para-local church ministries, and missionary sending agencies are all called to contribute to the fulfillment of the Great Commission. We believe God calls each individual Christian to grow in maturity and labor in His kingdom and that God's redemptive mission will reach every nation, tribe, people, and language, so that the earth will be filled with image bearers who display the glory of the Lord.
